Learning at Home

Supporting Learning at Home

When children are at school, we work hard to provide a place that inspires them to be excited, to be motivated and to feel positive. When they are at home, it helps them if these values are continued.

As parents and whānau, you play an incredibly important role in supporting children’s learning at school and at home. A safe and happy home environment, plenty of sleep and healthy food all helps. Actively involving yourself with your children’s education and developing a positive relationship with our school is really beneficial.

The following link will take you to the Ministry of Education webpage that provides information and tips on getting involved in your child’s reading, writing and mathematics learning. Select the relevant level to find out more.
